hub replacement question
Hello all, I just purchased a front hub bearing assembly from autozone to replace my worn out one. Forgot to get the 4 double threaded studs from the dealer yesterday, so i have to wait till tomorrow. Autozone apparently doesn't carry them, however, I noticed the flange with the 4 slots on the back of the new hub is approx 1/2in. wider in diameter than the original which is 3 in. 5/16 Is this normal for a replacement hub? by the way it is a timken hub or so it says so on the box. Anyone experience this before or did they give me the wrong hub? I have a 99.5 250 4wd superduty no abs on front wheels. Thanks .
