Hey Caddy 53 I'm trying to put some stuff together that I'll e-mail to you about some of the spots I personaly have had success
If your into pickerel (walleye),bass, pike, muskie all trophy size, the bay of Quintie is the place to go, It's big water lots of traffic but man does it produce!
Here's a 12.5 pound walleye I yanked out of the bay about 3 years ago he also came with 2 friends 9lb and 9.5lb. Yeee! Haaaw!. I let the 2 friends go "to big and old to eat" but the 12.5lb fish was mounted

Nutter: Looks to me that you had good time. I've been looking at map and can't find PORT PERRY or the lake your talking about. Can you give more detailed instruction. My boat size is 17' FISHER w/ 75 merc 4 stroke. Brother has 17' Monarc w/75 merc 2stroke. We would want to stay in acceptible waters for these boats. Boy the Rocks you have in the areas we been going are dangerous in places. Hard on equipment.
Looking Forward to the Info.Use my e-mail if you want ,That makes it easier to forward to brother for him to read.

Port Perry is about 20miles north of Oshawa Ont. On the shores of Lake Scugog which in my opinion has good fishing in winter (on the ice) but by mid summer the water gets too warm and is choked with boats, pwc's,weeds, wormy bass. It's a man made lake they flooded sometime in the late 1800's average depth is only 6ft. And has too high of a shorline population. On the up side it provides access to the Trent Canal system. And is also know to produce trophy "Muskie" but here on Scugog we changed the saying "the fish of 10'000 casts" is now "the fish of 100'000" casts.
The Bay of Quintie is part of Lake Ont, it starts around Bellville Ont and runs to the mouth of the St Lawrence River around The Thousand Islands area.
I will e-mail you some maps and such sometime this weekend when I get it all together.
