Well I found a rear end for my f150..i have 2.47 with Srod and a 300 6....

well been searchin for a rear end 8.8 with 3.08-3.55 gears...

well found one...

with drums...

100 bucks....

Its odd that you had a 8.8 with 2.47's and i've got a 9' with the exact same ratio.

I wish i could find even some 3.08's...it would make me soooo much happier.

 

YEah..Noticed that 9 and 8.8 are slightly different but that's what the code on the door says..I run bout 1500 rpms at 70 mph...going to go to 275/60 15' from 235/75which will give me bout 50rpms and with this swap it will be nice... :-)
