yeah shes all stock cept the front ranchand. i can see why my buddy wanted to sell me this truck. man do they ever have the torque. up until now ive been a chevy man. but im selling my 99 s500 4X4 now. shes a nice truck but the F250 suits my needs much more...and gets better mileage too. id like to put the wheel caps on this ford but cant find em. checked the local junkyards but no good there. ill keep looking. once i paint the bed and hood shell be in good shape. thanks for the help by the way. how do i post multi pics?
I haven't figured that out yet. but feel free to use this post for experiments. Let me know what you figure out. I've seen some caps for sale on here but I don't know the site. My stock ones fell off the back rims somewhere.
yeah they dont stay on well at all. i may just paint the hubs flat black and forget about em. im also looking for new body side molding. the dealers want a fortune for those plastic strips. no wonder they can make a deal on a truck cuz they surely make it up on parts.
thats a sharp truck! id like to find a standard cab 4X4 like that...in a 150....short bed if i can find 1. i like the older body style better than the new style. something about the frontend on the new ones just dont suit me. i was all set to sell my 2500 and drop 45 grand on a duramax but now i dont need it. i dont think ill ever buy a new truck again. im 58 and this F250 will probably be my last work truck.
773 with foot controls no heat, just ROPS. Kubota motor. bought it new in 2000 or 2001, Sold it this spring to make some house payments. Still mad about that. I'm going to get another one someday and sell my house instead, but kids are still young and need a good place to live.
at least as of when i worked for em (last year), they used kabota motors in everything. my weldin stall was right across the from the engine assymbly line. met a couple cute girls that worked over there...
