'93 F150 Starting

My truck will not turn over. I have replaced the solenoid with two different brands. First didn't do it and the last one worked a couple of times then stopped. I was able to get it to start once by moving the shifter (automatis trans.) so I think it may have something to do with that. Does anyone know where to find the switch that keeps the truck from starting when not in park or neutral? It starts fine when I bypass the solenoid.
