2010 F250 XL 4 X 4. 6000 miles. I have read multiple threads on front end clunks here but they are on trucks with a lot of miles with lifts or worn parts. I greased everything including driveshaft splines.
Going over small or large bumps or especially when turning I hear and feel clunks in the drivers side floor. Ball joints are tight, sway bar ends are tight (checked to make sure they didn't forget to put the bushings in).
It most reminds me of a CV joint clunk when they wear out but I only have 6K !!!
I had a clunk under mine too and took some investigating but found out my leaf spring bushings were blown. They are aftermarket 6"lift springs but it might be worth looking at. Hope this helps. But i guess on the 2010 its all springs.
Had it at the stealer for service they looked at it and said all was OK "you just have to get used to the noise of a heavy duty truck". That's all I have driven for 20 years including Kenworth and Peterbuilt! Lot of help they were, as usual.
