Any tips on how to go about doing this? I realize most of them are glued with double sided tape... One of them is already coming off by itself; any tips on how to take off the double sided tape without it coming off with the paint?
Looks like this weekend it's gonna be close to 40 degrees, gotta start monkeying with the cars...
They are called a Vinyl Eraser. I have seen them at Welle Auto Parts (off of 694 and Central Ave a little ways). I haven't used one yet, but have heard good things. I plan on doing this same thing this summer, and this is what I plan on using to remove the leftover adhesive.

Although that feels warm compared to colder weather it would be alot easier if it where like 80 out. What I would reccomned is grab some water and a blow dryer. Get the hot water and pour some on the double sided tape, grab the dryer and aim it close and you will see it loosen up. Pull and repeat, it does take a while but I did it on mine and it worked for me =)
FABRIC STEAMER!! I bought one from Target awhile back for $25. A very good investment! I removed 26 year old exterior decals (about 20 of them) from a Toyota with this miracle machine. I also used it to remove some 20 year old window tint that had baked in the California sun and turned purple. It came off in dime-size pieces before the steamer, after the steamer it came off in entire sheets. Works great for removing things like pinstripes, stickers, etc..........I would think it would have a purpose in removing double-sided tape. Post some pics when you get it all done. Warning: you will burn your fingers a few times before its all over!
