Im a full time poor college student studying mathematics, but i do make a little money working as a mechanic for a construction company over the summer and winter breaks. And most of that money i get ends up going toward either repairs or modifications.
Been selling new Ford trucks for over 20 years now. I've seen a lot of changes in the product but still think that up to the '96's were the best trucks yet!
I am a diesel mechanic, I take care of roughly 10 trucks and 100 trailers. AND im a full time student, going for diesel equipment technology. So there is no money for my truck. I have not put anything into it other than needed maintenance for the last 3 years now
I use to be a Maintenance Manager that over seen 20 branches for the company I worked for. However new people took over the department and thought I made to much money so now I'm looking in to starting my own business doing some maintenance, machining / fab, and repair work.
I'm a welder at John Deere. But due to a high maintenance "boss", I make a little extra truck "play money" by haulin' off scrap metal. You'd be surprised how much a truckload can bring you...especially copper tubing.
