Hi all,
I had a shop do a valve job and replace both exhaust manifolds among other things. Well, it idled about 650 rpms before they did the work, and now it idles about 850-900 rpms and they say that is as far down as they can get it. The gas padel seems to have more resistance than before and and the check engine light comes on periodically --> resets itself when ignition is turned off.
They blame the high idle on a worn throttle body shaft. I think they installed something incorrectly, since it was fine before I took it in for the work. What do you guys think?
