On a side note, I recently peeled my old weatherstrip off to replace it, which revealed how rusted my floors and rocker panels are. I put off replacing the weather strip until I get the holes patched and my doors without weather strip rattle pretty bad now, so that may be another thing you need to address. The pex definitely made a big difference though.
