New User Looking For Help

2005 F250 Diesel 87000 miles. I live in the San Diego California area. about a week ago the truck started giving me a problem starting in the morning. I thought maybe the cold as we had a couple of 30 degree mornings. After some working it would start, this has progressively worse. Then it went to not starting in the morning at all, I would come home for lunch and get it to start. I would drive it to work, about 10 miles. Come back at the end of the day 4 hours later and it would fire up no problem. Today I could not get it to start at all. When cranking it will kick over, run for a few seconds, sputter then die. I have had the batteries checked out. They are good. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It could be injectors or the FICM. Are there any codes? I am no match for some of the other guys knowledge, but I know I had these to things going on when mine was having trouble starting when cold.

Check the thread above titled: help stranded on the side of the road. Lots of good info about how to deal with a no start.

Also go to the tech folder on top of the 6.0 forum. There is a link there for trouble shooting a no start condition. I am putting money on your FICM.
