hey guys, well 2 things, my break lights aparently dont work, they worked 1 month ago (I know this becouse I had to back down a snow road for 300m, rideing the breaks in the dark), I recently replaced the break booster, so I checked the break switch that turns on when you press the breaks, it is atached and atached corectly. so the next thing would be a fuse, where is the fuse box and whitch fuse is for the breaks? I think I should start there and then check bolth bulbs, then the wireing.
secondly, I keep seeing these comershals for plastic head light lens restoration polish/buff, dose that stuff work on colored lenses or only clear lenses? mine are just realy fogy (found that out when I had to use a flash light to back down the above mentioned road )
As for taillamp restoration, yes that headlight restoration stuff will work on the taillights as well. You can also use jeweler's rouge with a buffing tool to polish the oxidation off headlamps and taillights.
Polishing the outside will help, but if they have a bunch of crud inside, they'll need washed out well. It can be tricky to clean the insides, since there's very little room to get anything in there to help break stuff loose.
thanks guys, ya it was a blown fuse, replaced it and they work great now.
going to see if I can polish them on monday, weekend is completly full unfortunatly.
