I would check the setting and condition of the rear brake shoes and linings. What you explained under #11 about one of the drivers coming back and thought it blew a brake line, about the only explanation would be if a rear shoe lining disintegrated. Anyway, it acts like the rear brake shoes aren't set up enough.

Did you happen to see that thread about replacing the plunger spring inside the rabs with a dowel or bolt or spacer to keep the plunger from doing that spring thing?
Sounds kinda weird in a diagnostic sense and may not have anything to do with your situation but shows the ingenuity of some of the people on here for sure.

I saw that one. I went a step further and bypassed the RABS.
