Air filtr question?

If i make take the black tube off of the front of the air filter would it breath better, or if i cut it shorter?

i would think the filter is rated above the max intake cfm of the engine - so i doulbt modifications of the intake tube would achieve much.

counciller is correct provided you are running the Donalson filter. Don't mess with the stock intake and filter on the 6.0L.

The only thing you'd accomplish would be to put a lot more hot air into your engine. The stock filter is a great setup on these trucks.

You can do the ZooDad Mod. I used Sink strainer screen convexed outward over hole
