After running my 2008 F250 for the past few years, decided to trade in on the new 6.7. Got a King Ranch and am waiting for the gooseneck hitch to be installed today before picking it up. I am anxious to compare the 2011 to my old truck in terms of towing, mpg, etc. I really loved the 2008, but the 2011 in the KR is incredible in terms of some of the upgrades. MSRP on the KR was almost 64k. After negotiations, rebates, etc. price came in right at 55k and they gave me over $30k for my 2008 - same dealer I bought the 08 from.
I'm interested in your thoughts as well since I'm in the same boat. The 2011 F350 I ordered should be delivered to the dealer any day now. I also will be trading in my 08 as well. It's been a long 9weeks<G>.
Not sure how long I will have to wait but my dealer said the order was "accepted" mean we don't have to wait for allocation. Congrats!!! What color did you get?
I got the black with the adobe accent. The interior is the KR black and red. It's pretty loaded with NAV, Sunroof, etc. My initial impression is great!
My ride home from the dealership (about 35 miles): MPG was 19.8 (far higher than anything I EVER saw with my 2008). Power is much stronger - it is noticeable and the ride is quiet. In addition to the NAV and Sunroof, the truck also has the FX4 package, tailgate step, and upfitter switches. The KR package is pretty loaded to begin with. My price was right at invoice less the $3500 in incentives. Having said that, my big concern was how much I could get for my 08 - I was satisfied with the trade as it was over $30k.

Oh I fondly remember the first drives being used to the 6.4 then hopping in the 6.7. 6.4 is no dog but wow, the new one is so very nice. Congrats.
