want to install a meyer poly plow on my 1997 f150, 4x4 , 4.6. what should i do to the front suspension or other areas to help handle this install? thanks

How heavy is the plow?
You may want to add airbags or possibly just crank up the torsion bars a bit to compensate for the extra weight.

plow and accessories listed at 600 libs. this sound heavy for a poly pllow, so i am not sure. thanks.

600 lbs must be just shipping rate for everything. i will have to check out the plow in person. thanks

I have a 97 F-250LD that I run a Western Unimount (7.5ft). I cranked up the torsion bars and installed a tranny cooler. No major problems yet. I think the fact that the entire unimount assembly comes off helps alot, because I can feel the front end difference with the plow and try to get it off as soon as I am done using it.
