i think you are pretty much shyte out of luck in this section, don't think any of the regulars are anywhere close to nevada. there are chapters you can join on here for state specific groups. maybe try joining and introducing yourself in the nevada chapter forum then posting a "wanted to buy" thread there, probably have better odds of finding someone closer that way.

What Id give for someone to come in here to ask for advice with "Ive got a reasonable amount of money for a good lift, a decent knowledge of installing lift kits and fab work and have plenty of time next weekend for the install" in their opening sentence.

Anyway,
drop your front buckets and flip the shackles in the rear. You'll also need a new front end bushing kit and shocks.

What size tires?

never gonna happen, ever. people don't realize what they are getting into with a lift. suspension is one of the biggest positives or negatives to drivability, but gets overlooked way too damn easy. they don't realize that the **** from the factory took tons of man hours of testing and millions of dollars to design, and chances are that the cheapest lifts you find have about zero dollars spent on r&d other than figuring the cheapest ways to "recreate" a taller copy and probably 2 hours of testing if any at all. at least when you piece together a lift from actual enthusiasts/fabber's you know the products are tested in actual conditions they will see. meh, screw this rant, i lost track of my thoughts.........two words, rough country

The difference between a "good" lift kit and a "cheap" lift kit is probably only about $200.

It would really help us if you tell us a little more about what you plan to do with the truck, what size tires you plan to run and what your budget is.

otherwise these are the springs I recommend to 9 out of 10 FTE'rs

Not so expensive, huh?

I think a 78 F150 with a 4" lift would look good with 35" tires. 33s fit stock but 35s get a little stuffed in the fenderwell unless you lift it.

What about the rear? Shackle flip is very popular so you can ditch the rear blocks and pretty much level the truck out.

heres what Id do.
Universal Shackle Flip Kit [FORDFLIP] - $195.00

You could save some money and either do leveling coils or not lift at all. I fit 36s on no lift pretty decently, though some say the 36" tires I had were more like a 35, so comparable to what you want. It's up to how you how you want it to look, I kind of prefer lower trucks, but 4" isn't too terrible with those size tires. I ran my Bronco with 4" and the 36's for a long time before I got my 39.5" boggers.
