Automatic Hubs (4X4) not engaging
Yes, I know, another Auto Hub Thread.
Truck is a 2004 FX4 with 190,000 miles Diesel. I bought it used so have no history other than the past year.
Rebuilt/cleaned hubs as be guzzle
The nib in the bottom of the hub - how critical is that the nib fits in the hole of the black plastic cup. - if critical, I plan on opening them up tonight to make sure
Still does not work..............
Little vaccum pump fires for about 30 seconds to 1 minutes then shuts off.
AC stays in dash vents when I switch on 4x4 (does NOT go to defrost)
Lines appear okay, but really, how can you trace them through that engine compartment.
Could it be the Pulse Vacuum Solenoid?
Manuals, yes they are an option but I like the convenience of the Auto.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
