question about intake manifolds 351W

hi, i have a 1994 F350 with the 5.8L and i was wondering if an intake manifold from a lightning 351 would fit on my truck.

Yes it will but.... the throttlebody is in a different location so the wiring for the EGR, TPS, and IAC will have to be modified to reach the new location, you'll need a remote vacuum tree, the throttle cable will have to change to a L model or you'll have to modify the L linkage to accept the regular truck cable, and of course the airbox and intake tubing will have to change to the L version or something aftermarket that is designed to work with a single bore throttlebody.

After all that work you'll have a motor that looks different but it won't perform any different.. because the intake system isn't the primary restriction on a stock motor. But if you have further upgrades planned then the L intake has more flow potential than the stock truck intake so it's a good start.
