Question Add a leaf up front?

I've got a '94 F250 Supercab, long bed, 4wd. I would like to pick the front end up a little to try and level it. Would a 1.5 to 2.0 inch add a leaf set kit work with out changing the ball joint? Would also need to find shim kit?

I've heard some folks have a tough time getting a lifted TTB 50 to line up and not cause uneven tire wear? Can anyone speak to that?

Thanks for the insight!

A level kit will not alter the ttb much at all. Most people that put a level kit on, don't get allignment but it's absolutely necessary.

Can u explain what u mean by a shim?

Wouldn't need a shim to correct the caster angle after adding an additional leaf. Also, any need to beef up the ball joints for the additional ride height?
