What can I do for $2K?

Ok guys, my $5k limit on truck funds has been reduced to $2K unfortunately....

So here's what I want and what the truck needs...

Needs-
Steering components-(Tierod ends, sleeves,etc....)
Fuel sending unit collar seal
6 Litre tuneup
Tranny and rear differential fluid changes

Wants-
Lower the truck 2/3" (Front coils and lowering shackles-$150-ish)
Fix the rust and possible repaint-with me doing the sanding, etc-(The sheetmetal is Approx. $130, and me sanding and prepping the truck saves me ??? $)
Finish painting the interior-(The paint is $13 per can)
Buy aftermarket taillights from truckviva.com-$71
Re-Tint the windows to 5%-Approx. $95
Install bed tonneau cover-$260-ish
Install chrome trim for the door, wheel arches, etc
Finish the exhaust-good deep, raspy muffler and reuse the tips I have
Install d/s A-Pillar trim w/ 3 gauge cluster

Is this all within the realm of possibility?

Next time I do the m5od I am going to add a bottle of that lucas stop slip. I put a little bit that i had left over from my power steering pump in the tranny. Makes the gears feel all slippery.

This is what I would do--Start with the most important thing on the list and work from there until I ran out of money.

I just did kind of the same thing your doing... i agree do the things that are going to make your truck safe and reliable first. After that i would do the things that will make the biggest impact for the least amount or cash.

Also just so you know, unless you know somebody with a paint shop prepping the truck yourself will save you sometimes, but i know at the shop i work at, we dont let people do that. Its not worth us painting a car over someone elses body work and then the paint looking crappy. Just my experience.

Last thing, have fun with whatever you do. I love working on my truck and that amount of money gives you a lot of play so enjoy it man.

GOOD LUCK!!!
