yea there are all kinds of fakeness to this truck.
I'm partial to the 78-79 grilles in some of the pics I have the 350 badges on the cowl but have since put the 250 on the tailgate is from a rust free 79 150 trailer special as well as the wire harness,a/c components and dash.

Kinda crazy color, 2008 Ford Dark Toredor Red, but depending on the sun it can be Burgundy, Red, Black Cherry, and even a Brown.
Some may have noticed that the doors don't exactly match the rest of the truck and thats cause of the metalics, painting the doors laying down, and not painting the entire truck all at once. I'm gona run it for awhile find where places rub make a few more mods and repaint it again in the fall.

sorry for the delay yes they are CARR steps, however like most after market "fits all trucks" crap they "only require one self tapping screw on each mount to the rocker panel" and that wont work so I have a hydraulic bender and I made pipe stryups to mount the steps to and then the stryups are also bolted thru the floor with plates sandwiching the floor board.
They fully support my 250lbs now!
