Fuel Pressure Question
I just got a new fuel press gauge from glowshift and i have a airdog 165/75. anyways i also have a itp rr and it has a fuel pressure gauge on it also. the inside gauge says i am getting 60 psi and the one under the hood is saying im getting 50 psi. this is at idle after i adjusted the airdog to 60 psi. my question is which gauge should i trust? the one that is at the fuel bowl or the regulator? btw the regulator is 3/4 open.

They should read the same. ITP/Strictly diesel has admitted having a problem with reliability issues with their gauges because of vibration, but it's hard to know with two gauges which is correct. Just for peace of mind, you might try switching them to see if the readings on each gauge stay the same or if they change pressures with position. Your other alternative is to get a third gauge (calibrated if possible) and see which gauge it matches.
