I have an 70 f100 that I need to buy carpet for.My truck is a 2 wheel drive with auto on the column, But it has a 2-3" extra hump bolted to the floor that My 71 parts truck doesn't have!It is factory .It has no holes for a shifter or anything. The problem is that everyone that sells carpet or rubber mats list them as being ther same for 65-72.
Has anyone ran into this with their '70? Should I buy carpet for a truck with floor shift and specify that they don't cut out the center hole?
Also where is the best place to buy carpet from?
Thanks,Johnny

Yea But I can't possibly put the same carpet in My 70 as I can in the 71 becuse of the extra 2-3" hump bolted in there. I just releized that the 71 has a c4 while my 70 has a c6 so maybe they put it in there to make room for the c6!
Anyone else have a 360/390 with an automatic that is willing to take a look for me?
Thanks,Johnny
According to my 68 body and trim manual there are different part numbers for the carpet kits
V-8 auto truck (P/N ends in LW)
Manual (P/N ends in MW)
6 Cyl auto truck (P/N ends in NW).
Also a special "hump" was installed as an RPO(??) for the 3 speed with a V-8 gas only.

I have been looking at putting carpet in my '71 F100. The catalogs I have been looking at show 2 kinds of molded carpets. One is for the 'regular hump' the other is for the taller, bigger, or 2"-3" higher hump. Mine has a C6 which has the higher hump. F100s with the C6 have the tall hump. Shoot me an email and I'll let you know which catalogs show the the carpets as being different.
