99 V10 Trans Help
Ok guys, i haven't posted in the super duty part of the forum, I've been hangin out over at the PSD part. However, I'm looking into picking up a 99 v10 4X4 for a back up plow truck. It's priced about 4500 under private party book and is pretty clean. The problem is it will not shift automatically. It shifts fine if you manual shift from first to second, to third. But overdrive will also not work. I'm thinking it's a computer issue, but want to make sure before i buy. Specs on the truck are 99 f-250, 4x4, reg cab long bed, auto, v10, with 140k. Thanks ya'll!
