I guess it would only make sense if someone wanted the NP205 enough to swap it in for nothing. Most people feel like you do about the 205s.

I was referring to the actual exchange of the transfer cases, not the merits of a NP203 vs NP205. As far as full time 4 wheel drive goes, it is just a matter of what one wants. I like it and the disadvantages are well worth the cost. I do not 4 wheel or tow large loads. I want the traction available all the time. Life experience has shown that it is worth it. I am pretty sure it has saved my *** a couple of times. More wear and tear, some gas, etc. I will take it. You should also consider the number of numb-skulls that have to replace U-joints because they try to use the part time cases turning on too much traction.

okay i get it now... yea i use my rigs alot and put some power thru them so the 205 is benifitial...and since the wifes not workin and in school i pay all the bills and gas gettin up there i kinda need the milage.. but yes thats not exactly a simple swap...most guys should probably leave the 203 and convert it to part time...

well know this ones up for sale still and i've saved another from the crusher..
like i mentioned i've been put on scrap haul duty for the trucking company i work for...was there yesterday when a gourgoues 79 f150 4x2 RANGER xlt trailer spec.... has 400ci auto and 9", rollin on 30X9.50R15s on 80s aluminum rims...needs a wiring harness or fusible link...this trucks is nice, it has one dent and the hood needs a repaint...along with the cb antenna being moved from the cab to somewhere else... pics to be posted on photobucket soon... couldn't let him scrap it so i bought it for the weight of it...$500...

now for the better news he has to more and i'm gonna pass them on to you guys...
1-1976 f150 4X4 longbed..body rough but runs and drives..$550-$700 depends on cash and scrap value...
2-1979 f-250 4x2 supercab..runs and drives, body super straight and clean price about the same as f150...
somebody please rescue these trucks from the junk man...i've done my part its someone elses turn...
please call Ken the Car Guy 541-517-6528 for details and acurate prices...these are in Eugene Oregon by the way...
