flowmaster 50 and 40 series

flowmaster 50 and 40 series
Ive got a 92 f150 with a 351 and it has one 50 series on it. i was wondering if i went to a 40 series original, would it give it that much better sound, and be worth the money? thanks AC.

Yes I think you'd like the 40 better. I personally hate the 50's. In fact the 40 is the only one that I do like. The 50's are too mellow and quiet and often times have a burble sound. On thge other hand, if you want to keep it quiet and you like the noise level now, then keep it. I just cant stand something that I cant hear.
