no start,new batteries
Had my truck in for service,batteries failed the load test.Before this it was becoming hard to start after sitting.I put the new batteries in and it was turning but wont catch.It finally stumbled to life but died after 10 secs,now it seems like there is no power to turn it over. Any ideas...2007 f350 diesel Thanks

smacking the starter
that may not be a good idea.older starters you could do that but some modern starters use ceramic magnets and and a good smack could crack them .be carefull and don't smack it to hard.good luck

Well as predicted the dealer says ficm is toast, luckily i have a some warranty left. I also thought that the vaccum pump was making a lot of noise,we will see if that gets cleared up. Thanks guys for your insight.
