Edge Insite guage display
I have been looking at buying the Edge Insite for monitoring my engine and trans. Just wondering what you guys think of it. Should I get the Insite or look at something else? Id like to stay away from the gauges if I can. Also, if any of you guys have this, does it monitor the normal info (boost, trans temp, coolant temp, (I know it measures EGT with the pyro)).

Insight monitors a number of parameters including Boost, Trans Temp, Oil Temp (there's no coolant sensor on the 7.3L), ICP, IPR, and several others. For the money, go with the CTS as it has a nicer display and capabilities for a backup camera. One thing to keep in mind... the boost reading the Insight comes from the OBDII port, and as such is limited to the range of the stock MAP sensor which is about 24 PSI. Edge has an optional pressure sensor (part of the EAS adapters) due for release soon which can handle up to (I think) 75 PSI.
