Amazing. Thanks again for your help. I will go the 5 then 1 also and see it it goes on the next batch. I settled the magnesol 48 hours then actually drained the paste straight out the bottom of my cone tank until nothing but BD was exiting. It worked out pretty well I thought. Can I get by with 24 hour settle?
What do you guys run? B50, B100?? How low of a temperature can I get away with running B50? This morning the temp was sitting at 15. This is sort of out of the ordinary for my area but curious as to how much I can push the limit. In the past I set a jar outside in the mid 20's and noticed by B50 was cloudy but still very flowable. In the teens I have not check it (mainly cause it rarely gets in the teens). Little scared to run it when its that cold. What are your experiences. Thanks Maxx
A lot depends on the raw oil that was used. Hydrogenated oils will jell at a higher temp than non-hydrogenated oils, and Soy based bio has a higher jell temp that Canola.
My bio is Canola based, non-hydrogenated, and is good to 0 deg at B-50.
