351 Idle Issues
I have an '81 F150 with a 351 that I am having difficulties getting to run right. It has the stock 2150 2BBL. This my problem: when the engine is idling it surges up and down in no real rhythmic pattern, it also smells rich even though their is no presence of black smoke. The choke pulloff plunger has a leak so I plugged the vacuum line, I don't know if that would effect the idle or not. As far as I can tell their are no vacuum leaks.
