Stumbles on Acceleration ??
If I put more than about a quarter of pedal down then it stumbles as it accelerates. If I give it very little pedal and hold it there then it is pretty good as far as no vibration or shaking. It idles fine and starts fine. Also the check engine light is now on. From a dead stop with just a little pedal I'm fine, However give it more than a little then it stumbles, but not violently..
Any suggestions??

What size engine do you have? How old are your spark plugs?
It sounds to me like you just have a misfire probably from a bad spark plug or plug wire if you have a 4.6 or coil pack if you have a 5.4.
You should probably take your truck and get the computer scanned to see what code turned on the check engine light.
I would guess that you have a P030something code which indicates a misfire. The number after the P030 tells you which cylinder it is i.e. P0304 is a misfire on #4 cylinder.
Apparently most AutoZones will scan your truck for free but it shouldn't cost all that much anywhere else either.
Let us know what you find
I have the 4.6 V8
The spark plugs are as old as the vehicle 73,000 miles.
I called autozone and they will check it out tommorrow.
I will let you know!!
Thanks again
Michael..
