Lean Issues

I have a B2, I had the engine rebuilt not to long ago and right when i got it back the business went **** up.... SO did my warrenty! When i got it back it ran great for 2 days.. THEN it started acting like the O2 sensor was bad (spitting black smoke... I would give it gas and it would stop.) ran the code. saw it was running rich, I changed the O2 sensor, that didnt fix it. another code was the egr solinoid.. I chnaged that and it stopped running rich... but still by now, the when i drive it, i feeel like im driving into 500 MPH winds.. but I redo the codes and NOW its running LEAN! I did a compression test.

Well thats NOT good! But WHY was it running GREAT, then 2 days later bog with the o2 sensor issue. then it just went to BOG.

I have an '88 BII V6 stick. Mine was running crappy too, blowing black smoke(rich) no speed over half throttle, erratic idle and running hit. I either changed or cleaned all sensors, tune-up, filters, re-did some cracked/bad engine wiring. my last resort was to change to a new/re-built computor,, that did the trick right off. thing runs like a V-8 now,,all kinds of power, no misses, tail pipe turning gray(lean). you might try that too. got mine at Oriellys auto parts,, Autozone has em too. either new or re-built. good luck.

I do have a good extra computer i ALWAYS keep on hand.. Ill try that. Ive done everything you have said, I have changed all my sensors before and kept them as extras also. Ill check some more wiring. and replace the computer tommorrow when i get back to work..
