Radiator Mishap

I am in the middle of doing an EGR and Oil cooler replacement. It's been going good, except for one thing. When I first got started I pulled the 3/8 hose from the de gas bottle to the radiator off the radiator side after removing the clamp. The nipple on the radiator broke off. The nipple is plastic along with the top of the radiator. Would it be possible to drill and thread the plastic with a brass fitting. Perhaps glue it in also, or does this mean a new radiator?

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago and had the same plan in mind but ended up drilling it out and JB welding a plastic hose connector into it. So far so good.
