2 Heater resistor malfunctions

2 Heater resistor malfunctions
I have had 2 heater resistors burn out in 4 weeks, in less than 200 miles of driving. Both were installed by the dealer. I am thinking that there must be something else causing the resistors to malfunction 
Would a squeaky blower motor cause some sort of electrical stress on the resistor? Any ideas?

If the squeak is actually a bearing going out, yes. Its really easy to take out. 3-4 screws. If its stiff to turn, it could be the cause. If the connector is melted at the resisitor, that would burn up the resistor too.
On a side note, i would think 2 in a month would be warrantied.
