Engine coolent temp
speeds (70 - 75 MPH) flat ground NOT towing.
The ECT should be 190* which indicates the t-stat is working properly.
If the EOT is 205* then you have a 15* delta and the oil cooler
is likely plugged partially. If the ECT never warms up, then the
test is not valid and the t-stat needs to be replaced.
When towing, or going up a mtn the temps will get hotter and
delta get wider that isn't an issue.

Temperature spread would depend on truck being empty, loaded, speed, and outside temperature. As an example, right now where I live which is a cold climate driving 45-50 mph. level and empty I see a spread of 2 degrees. If I do 70 I will see a 5 deg. spread. In the summer 45-50 mph I will see a 5 deg. difference empty, and at 70 a 8-9 deg. difference.
