I have a code 12, can't seem to find out what to do to. When I start the truck the check engine light flashes three times, It then either speeds up the idle or the truck will stall. I have already changed the IAC. If you guys can help I thank you

I would check the TPS as this is what my 92 van did.... The IAC is one of the most reccomended trhings to replace but also the most expensive (I paid 80 bucks for mine) The TPS is 30 bucks at the zone, although I would buy mine at Advance or NAPA..

Yeah be carefull getting those parts. Napa said there was two different TPS's for my 92 F150 351 and I would have to take the old one off first to get the id code on the side of it. I said bull$%^# and went to FORD and bought THE ONE(extra$15 bucks). Most of those wanabees that work at those places don't even know what a TPS is!!!

I'll make it real simple WELLS SUCKS! I had an '82 e350 club wagon (15 pass) 351W, we had some intermittent ignition troubles with it, turns out it was the magentic sensor in the dist. We put 3 different wells in and same probs, put one if from car quest (cost about 20 bucls more) and never had another problem. SO we say NO to wells now.

Your code 12 is a false reading - all EEC-IVs after '90 used 3-digit codes, so try pulling them again.
