turbo issue

turbo issue

I have an 05 f250 250k miles on it. this evening noticed i only have about 5psi of boost what the heck. Any suggestions? No check engine light .

check the rubber hoses( blue) for leaks with soap and water in squirt bottle. might also be a stuck open egr valve,I know my big trucks egr valve stuck full open and it degraded the turbo no boost and lots of black smoke

sounds like the turbo might need a good cleaning.

MAP hose clogged or cracked.

I checked codes today possible icp sensor, code said no turbo boost reading. Does this sound familiar to anybody?

It would help if you would post the specific code rather than the code description. Sometimes they can mean more than one thing.

Code is p2262. I was going to install new sensor discovered the map hose popped off intake fitting put it back on noticed hose very stiff will change tomorrow. Truck now has boost, but noticed after its warmed up has a little miss or buck. Could this be the icp sensor going or the vgt valve sticking? Can these sensors be cleaned? Any other help would be great

Yep, that's what I figured. Same thing happened to me. I put in a new fitting and new hose. See if the VGT relearn (once you've got it all back together) solves your buck problem before you do anything else.

Have not had a chance to put new hose yet but first thing in the am. Will disconnecting batteries clear code and check engine light.

Thanks for your help changed hose to map sensor no real change on the buck or miss will clear codes and see if anything comes up again.
