12.5" Width right?
Is the 2.5" leveling kit the only lift you have?
I like the stance a lot, and the full wheel wells are my favorite part about big tires.
Yep 12.5" wide.
2.5" lift springs up front and 2" blocks in the rear.
And ya me too, i hate huge lifted pickups with little tires, makes it look like its about to tip over.lol
Haha i know what you mean, there's a guy that drives around town here with a 90's suburban that i'd say has around 6" or bigger lift thats running stock wheels and tires. I laugh every time i see it drive by. In my eyes if you cant afford the tires, dont put the lift on until you can.
hell, i dont even use lifts. my exploder is sittin on 31x10.50s mounted on factory rims, at probably a little less than factory ride height. not only that, but despite everything ive seen, heard, or read, says you need a lift or to do some decent trimmin for em. did i? nope. do they rub? nope. can i fit 33s in the same form? hell no. but itd be fun to try. lol.
F3fitty: So are those BFG all terrains with a Goodyear MTR retread?
Ya im pretty sure thats what they are.
And i went to do some trimming this morning and my grandpa gave me a good idea to just loosen the bumper bolts and see if i can adjust it forward. And sure enough lossened the bolts and it moved about a half inch forward. They do not rub at all, unless i hit a pretty hard bump then they rub on the fenders but not very bad so all is good=]
Went up a pretty darn steep mountain this morning to test them out and i didnt slip a tire ounce, but my buddy spun out about halfway up with near new yokahama geolanders on his 72 ford.lol
oh i knew 35s would fit on a 250 or 350 with no lift if you trim the bumper. buddy of mine in hs did it. mounted em on the factory rims with the hubcaps. looked kinda badass actually...
Hate to burst your bubble on those BFG(they suk), but I hope you dont have to use 4x with them tires on...b/cause they suck....tried to just drive thru my yard last night and started spinning out of control. I had been making this same trip on my 33's for 7 years but the BFG give up after only a few feet....now I have to go get the tractor out in the morning
Huh...thats pretty crazy, i never took em through deep deep snow yet but i had it in about a foot of snow today and didn't spin a tire, even had em on some packed snow going up a pretty steep mountain and still didnt spin a tire. Your yard must have a ton of snow or something.lol
I got to looking at your pickup and the BFG's you have are different from the ones i have, mine are not the same tread as yours, mine are just BFG All Terrain carcass's with mud terrain tread.
