I've recently stripped down the front end of my 55 f100, Painted the engine, Now starting the re-assembly. QUESTION, I want a new alternator, distrubator, and starter. nothing wrong with mine, only for the purpose of making it look nice. Im not doing a Hot-Rod. so I dont need performance parts. Suggestions on where i should buy them, and what kind.

Nice! For a alt. I would recommend the 3g swap. 130 amps, you get rid of your extenal volt reg., internal cooling fan, and really simple install only two wires to hook up(batt. wire and green wire with red tracer). Your truck should already have the green wire.
