limited slip
hi everyone, i have a 1990 f250 4x4 with the ford 10.25 rear end with 3.55 gears, right now i got open diffs, i realy want some limited slip but i dont have that much cash, i was thinking of getting the ford factory traction lok and putting that in the back, possibly something like that for the front???? anyone know anything about this, anyone know where i can get the parts, anyone ever dont this???

Just get a 10.25 LS traction lok. Try ebay. You need the complete set, which is the carrier, side/spyder gears, and clutch pack. If the clutch pack is worn/used, get a rebuild kit from ford and change them out. Remove the open diff carrier and install the LS carrier. I got one for cheap to go in my 8.8. You'll have to find out what axle you have up front, the front LS's are rare, you might have to go aftermarket.
