Broken part
I have a 55 F100 and while removing my rearend I broke one of the leaf spring hangers. Can I get one from the donar truck I'm taking the rear out of or do I need to find one just like the one that broke? I'm going to be putting in a 9" rear from a 70-71 f100.

Hey ABN, I'm sure the part want fit, you can order them from Dennis Carpenter or Midfifty there are also vendors listed on this site that have them. It may be a good idea to replace both of the hangers, over the years they will get out of round where they pivot. Which BN are(were) you in?

Jaye, I was in the 2nd Batt, 75th Rngr Reg at Fort Lewis Washington back in 1981.
