Pulse Vacum Hub Lock Solenoid (PVHLS) keeps going bad on my 2000 f250 7.3L. The way I know the PVHLS goes bad is by the heater control defaults to defrost no matter where I have the **** set at. I havent been able to find any air leaks in the hoses. I looked behind the glove capartment and still didn't find any air leaks. My next theory is that the O-rings are leaking in the hubs. My auto hub locks dont work either. I have to get out and lock in the hubs every time. The O-rings that I am thinking are bad are the ones located on the Hub Lock that comes out by sqeezing the retainer ring with a pair of pliars. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!!

I just replaced my vacuum selonoid ... You can ohm check the 3 lugs on the selonoid.. You should have some resistance between all 3.. If not, replace it..
