WOW! I've seen some stupid things (done some too), but when he says he needed a better bumper because "that one didn't do the job" I almost threw up in my mouth! I hope he doesn't stop to help me on the trails
this one is top 5 for me on stupid shyt ive seen...
and for all you Ranger basher... i have gotten plenty of fullsize f series out with my ranger. you have to have someone behind the wheel that knows what he is doing... not this idiot.
It's simple.
Daddy's Money+not made to do anything for themselves=Stupid kids.
It's the parent's fault the kid is that dumb.
JL
Thats the truth right there! My boys are 7 & 10 and know more about wheelin' and off-road recovery than anyone in that video. Shoot, they'll be building their own rigs soon enough...
Here's my 10yr old supervising this guy trying to get out of the middle of the trail. (high-centered)
Here he is putting dual 'cases in our 'yota:
And my 7yr old practicing some skillz:
Helping me rebuild the engine in the truck they've known as long as they can remember:
Just doing my part to offset this pathetic epidemic in our country...
God I hope my next one is a boy... You got a good thing going there with the free help
I know some gurls that are pretty good fabricators too... Just sayin'
My poor kids... We like to joke that there's always therapy later in life to help them deal with having me as a Dad. Like the roadtrip last summer after fixing the AC in the Excursion and they were complaining about being cold on a 100* day - I just reminded them they could tell their therapist all about it one day!
He said "it sheared my frame" ???? Actually if he attached it to frame it probably wouldn't have been a problem. That 30' thin, nylon, flatbed truck strap would have stretched a bunch and maybe snapped. I wonder if he would have done the same stunt with a chain.
Reminds me of when the first cars with air bags came out.
Kids stole them and drove into brick/concrete walls to experience
the "fun" of the air bag deployment.
In defense of the stupid kid; He got it partly right and it would have been fine if; 1. It was the last resort 2. It was tied to the frame.
(Lots of stretch there).

3. If he turned the truck around and tied it to the hitch...
Thats funny! These are the people that everyone wants to protect and is the reason we have traction control, abs, and air bags. I say let the gene pool take care of itself.
