Today has been a bad day. Got a call from the Machine shop the heads I took to them need Valve guides! Which sucks I was hoping to get rid of the smog heads, but it doesn't look like we will be able too. I guess I'm going to have to tap and plug the air holes. I didn't get to make it to the JY. But the good news is My rusty 289 hipo intake is going in the oven at the shop, monday. It should look alike a brand new intake when she is done.

Anyone have a decent set of SBF heads that can go directly on the motor cheap or maybe will take something in trade?

Missy is the H2O front house the one you were looking at or filled pot holes? Finney, can the heads have the guides knurled? instead of replaced? I've saved a few that way.

They have about a 1/16 play in them and ONE and only one valve seat is screwed, for the price it would cost to have them redo we could add a $100 or $200 and get aftermarket heads.
