I've checked them on my 6.0, and the software is for all Fords with an OBD hookup so I don't see why not.

OBD ??

I did puchase a manual yesterday for my truck since Ron told me he does not know too much about my truck. I guess he has turned into such a "diesel head" my gasser is stumping him. I would think diesel and gasser stuff are different, but maybe not? parts is parts??

On Board Diagnostics. The plug where you hooked up the scanner.

It looks to have 6 "plugs" 3 on top 3 on the bottom

This is located under the steering wheel to the right

All obdII connectors are the same. If it'll plug into the diesel it'll plug into her 4.6L. I can plug my scanner into the diesel but it just wont communicate with the software. I borrowed Juniors scanner for the time being.

Ron's been at work since 11:00 last night. I expect him home anytime. They don't like to pay double time so he should be on his way.
