I decided to go with different front cab bushings. I bought these universal polyurethane mounts. They raise the front about 1/2" which actually helped with clearance in certain areas. I'm going to reinforce the mounting pads on the frame and the mounting point on the cab as well.

Here's stock

The hole enlarged

The bottom bushing cut for clearance.

Greg, You may have mentioned it earlier but what master cylinder and mount did ou use? It looks great and I may need to go with one like that.

Thanks

I've got the floor boards pretty much finished from beneath. Here I've sandblasted clean.

And here it is with 2 coats of SPI epoxy primer.

Got some sandblasting done on the inside. Cleaned up pretty well except where the green paint is. PO apparently used rattle can lacquer primer. I don't know what kind of paint the green is. It's kinda soft so the sand didn't work real well on it. I've been using a heat gun and razor to scrape if off. Guess I won't be getting epoxy primer sprayed this weekend.

Somebody butchered the dash. They tried for the smooth look by using mesh with tons of filler instead of welding in metal.

Thanks. I looked at your build pics, nice job. Looks like you are making great progress.
It's great to take a lot of pics. If I start getting burnt out I go back and look at the old pics to see just how much progress has been made. Keeps me motivated!!!

I live in Brandenburg, KY. Where are you in the bluegrass exactly?

Bummer about the dash. Looks pretty hammered. Also looks like a little brass brazing was used too, probably to hold on the mesh? I wonder if that green stuff is some sorta membrane sealer, or encapsulator? Weird that it's be on the inside only though. Keep up the good work, enjoying the progress.

Great Job on your build! I have just went threw all of your progress and I must say you dont cut any corners. Very clean. To bad about your dash,It is alway hard to believe what some hacks will do!! With your skills you will have it cherried out to perfection. Also I have the same material, I think that you have inside your cab. I thought it was some kind of under coating, tried sand blasting to no avail, will be scraping.. Oh what fun.LOL Look forward to your progress. George
