Hi All, I have a "94" f150 302 engine fuel injected auto. When going down the road it will run fine then it starts acting like its starving for gas, when its running fine the check engine light is off. When its acting like its not getting gas the light is on. When you put the code reader on it, it won't read anything. This is a continuous cycle going down the road. Any suggestions would be great.
Wes, will check the pumps as it does not matter which tank your on, it does it.
On the code reader it use to would read and just give an all clear code even if the check engine light was not on. Now it just won't read.
The Code Reader will not read anything unless the light is on, hence a Check Engine Light.....
Sounds like either a waning fuel pump or a bad fuel filter....

If the Check Engine Light came on even once there will be a record of it unless the KAM is getting corrupt. Many times there can be no CEL and still have a code(s).
If your reader is not giving you the all clear code of 11/11 or 111/111 then something is definitely amiss here. Try using a jumper wire to pull the codes.
