My son just bought a 1977 e-250 conversion econoline that has a very high top and has a sink, stove, and frig, heater. It has a tag on it that says ELDORADO Industries, guessing who converted it, It only has 88000 and the body has no ding or dents just faded badly, it truly is a painters dream, the tires were so dry rotted we had to get smaller rims and new tires, it had 16 1/2 on it. I was just wondering if there are any out there and if poss to respond. Any idea what it is worth out in the van market? I can send pix if need be, thanks for reading this and KEEP ON TRUCKIN!
I use to have a mid 70's high top camper van. I gutted it and used it for Hauling car parts and towing cars. I loved the van but the body was to far rotted to save so I ended up scrapping it and getting a newer van. I dumped the 16.5" rims and tires in favor of some 16" ones too. Mine was a really faded pale yellow. I don't remember what company did the conversion on mine.
I lost the pics of mine when my hard drive crashed.
I can't help with the value of yours. If you've got pictures of yours post them! I don't see a whole lot of 70's high top camper vans around my area anymore.
