The blue on the truck....Just to tie inside to outside....JMO, considering I am doing a TOTAL interior swap from grey to maroon....And my truck is navy blue...
Colorbond from LMC Truck....It's a tad costly at around $12 per can, but it actually becomes part of the piece you are painting....Or Plasti-Kote from car-quest, it's $6 per can.....
I don't like the grey and I have a mint condition maroon interior.....Sooo yea...
Also, the maroon interior has sentimental value: It came outta my 94 that I wrecked....
Thats a great looking truck I like it well except for the euro lights. I say paint the dome light satin/flat black. What color is that tan? I upgraded my dome light too.
Yeah they were cheap so I just wanted to see what they looked like. And I liked it. Yeah it lights up so much better so I like the upgrade a lot. Yeah its tan, it matches my camouflage seat covers at least
looks good. i cant wait to start upgrading mine....paint is first. how hard was the dome light to install? i can get a new one for free...is it worth the change?
thanks 92nite351. yeah i love changing little things here and there. it depends what you get it out of. if you get on out of a taurus or a mustang it will go right in without a problem, screws are in the same place. but if you get it out of an f150 the screws are still the same, theres just this little piece of plastic that youll have to take off with a pair of pliers. Its to long to let you mount it up, but once thats off your good to go. When i first tried to put it in i thouhgt i had messed up and had to get a different one, but once i really examined it, that little piece of plastic was all that was in the way.
Youll enjoy the extra light it adds vs the old dome light
